Presentación

This Certificate program is for the individual seeking more topic-specific training with respect to cybersecurity.

The Certificate is comprised of two eLearning classes: students will choose one of two elective options, Cyber Crime and Cyber Risk and the Corporation, and another class (Cyber Futurism) is mandatory.

Objetivos

The main objective is to educate and train lawyers and business professionals seeking greater expertise on cyber risk and the corporation, cyber crime, and cyber futurism (emerging cyber risk/threats).

Cyber Risk and the Corporation (elective) – Weeks 1-2

Risk considerations (Avoid, Accept, Mitigate, Transfer).
Cyber Risk and the Corporation (elective) – Week 3

The role of corporate leadership and the board, as well as addressing other key corporate actors (the GC, CFO, and CIO).
Guidelines for how senior executives and board members should approach and prepare for cyber risk.
Cyber Risk and the Corporation (elective) – Weeks 4-5

Assessment of risk appetite
Cyber incident and impact quantification
Risk management (InfoSec / consulting) and risk transfer as partners
The role of cloud service providers.
Cyber Risk and the Corporation (elective) – Week 6
